A NEW online campaign is launched on www.theboltonnews.co.uk today - and we are calling on members of the public to join in our crusade.
We want to highlight the spiralling number of potholes on roads across Bolton - and need the help of our online community.
From today, you can post pictures and locations of potholes in your area as part of our Spot A Pothole initiative.
Every picture will be uploaded to a special section of our website and the location of the pothole publicised.
To find out how to send us your pictures simply click HERE.
For those people without the facility to take pictures, a simple location can be added in the Comment section below.
Eventually we will publish a gallery of the worst potholes in Bolton in an edition of The Bolton News.
New figures released today by the The Asphalt Industry Alliance show the number of potholes repaired across the UK in the last year almost hit the one million mark.
The survey also shows there is a shortfall in road maintenance funds of £1 billion
