UNIQUE artefacts from the past 200 years will feature in an exhibition at the Heritage Centre in Beaumont Road, Horwich.
The Mayor of Horwich, Bernard McCartin, and Mayor of Bolton, Walter Hall, will unveil two new additions at 10am tomorrow. A gatepost from the Fall Birch Toll Bar will be on show for the first time since the Turnpike closed 130 years ago and a restored wooden mining tub, used to transport coal and clay, will also be on display.
Stuart Whittle, Horwich Heritage chairman, said: "These items represent important features in Horwich's industrial history which need to be preserved."
