MUSIC lovers are spoiled for choice tonight.
"Camp S&M cabaret" Condor Moments will be trying to win over punters at the Dog and Partridge with their sick senses of humour.
Claiming influences including Mr Bungle, pianist Richard Clayderman (their website describes them as "the sound of Richard Clayderman slaying his own children") and Deus, the Fylde gang are as much about punk rock as they are about tongue-in-cheek artsiness.
Over at The Soundhouse, Death 2 The DJ presents Kinky Bosco plus special guests. Formed in 2003 Kinky Bosco have toured the North of England with their own unique style of Northern swagger, and claim to be influenced by Fred Dibnah and Mike Baldwin.
Support comes from The Hotmelts' keyboard infused rock, five-piece indie band Moss Rose, and the brilliantly named Sushi Pills, who are inspired by dirty, fuzzed up late sixties garage, razor sharp 77 punk and a love for true rock n' roll excess.
If you'd rather a bit of metal, The Alma sees the return of Bolton's doom legends Unsilence, plus intense metalcore from Presoulnation and those blues-rock miscreants The Vordermans. We can't promise that any of them will be sober.
Heading away fron the traditional venues, False Image, Pendleton, Most Open Heartbreak and OCD play Smithills School Hall. School of rock indeed.
Then if you're not exhausted, tomorrow the Dog and Partridge plays host to the Stranger son of WB, the Buddhas of Bamiyan, Michael Travis Cocker and Chunk (check out their personal quote on their MySpace - www.myspace.com/chunkspace).
And at the Bottom Bull in Breightmet, punk band TVOD will be playing from 9pm.
