LEIGH need to make sure they are on their game when they take on relegation rivals Vauxhall Motors tonight (ko 7.45pm).
The Railwaymen have been inconsistent in recent weeks, but if they are at their best and secure three points, it will go along way to clinching Conference North survival.
Which RMI team will turn up has been frustrating, not least for manager Stuart Humphreys, who will be without the services of suspended goalkeeper John Lamb. James Mann will probably get a rare opportunity to take over.
After last weekend's 2-1 defeat at third bottom Redditch United, RMI are now just two points clear of the Worcestershire outfit, with tonight's visitors from the Wirral just one point ahead of RMI.
While Leigh have had mixed results recently that have summed up their entire season, with a terrific 2-1 win over Blyth being sandwiched by disappointing defeats to Barrow and Redditch, Vauxhall have failed to win in nine games and the run has dragged them into the relegation mire. They had been in contention for a play-off spot earlier in the season, and their last outing resulted in a 1-1 draw with second bottom Scarborough.
