CYCLISTS taking part in a sponsored event will stop off at The Reebok Stadium on a tour of Premier League club grounds.

Michael Cross and Martin Cottrell are raising funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign and they aim to call at all 20 clubs in the top flight - covering more than 700 miles - in less than seven days.

Their challenge starts at Newcastle United on April 28 and finishes on May 5, at Charlton Athletic in London. Michael, aged 22, and Martin, aged 47, who both live in the South of England, are expected to arrive in Bolton at around 3pm on Sunday, April 29, after leaving Blackburn Rovers' Ewood Park, at 1pm.

From Wanderers, they will head for Wigan's JJB Stadium.

Martin said: "We would also welcome any cyclists to join us from The Reebok for a short bike ride, wearing Wanderers' club colours."
