BOLTON lightweight sensation Amir Khan has climbed two places in the latest WBO lightweight rankings following his win in February.
The 20-year-old stretched his unbeaten record to 11-0 with an impressive first round win over Mohammed Medjadji at the Wembley Arena.
And it means that he moves from number 14 in the WBO rankings to number 12.
Aussie hard man Michael Katsidis captured the WBO interim lightweight world title on the same show as Khan, while Acelino Freitas is the current full champion.
Khan now finds himself tucked in behind fellow Brits Willie Limond (11) and Graham Earl (10).
But the news is a set back for Earl, who was at number one until he was beaten by Katsidis at Wembley.
Meanwhile Khan hopes to make his debut on US cable channel HBO when he fights Steffy Bull on April 7, at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff. Joe Calzaghe tops the bill against Peter Manfredo Jnr, winner of the US television programme "The Contender".
