Satellite navigation and vehicle tracking firm Trafficmaster unveiled record operating profits of £6.3 million for 2006 after securing a contract for the country's first pay-as-you-drive insurance scheme.
The Bedfordshire-based group reported a £5.3 million rise in operating profits last year after winning an insurance deal with Norwich Union to provide "black box" vehicle tracking units - its largest ever contract.
