POLICE are appealing for help to trace a 21-year-old woman from Luton who has been missing for more than two weeks.
Geraldine McCarthy, who is known to have acquaintances in the Bolton area had been visiting her sister in West Hendon on March 3 and had intended to travel home by train. But she has not been in contact with her family since then and they are becoming increasingly worried for her welfare.
Police say they are also concerned for Geraldine. Although she has been reported missing before she has always contacted her family to let them know she is safe. Geraldine is white, 5ft tall and stocky with shoulder length curly dark brown hair and speaks with an Irish accent.
Anyone who has seen Geraldine, or a person matching this description, or who knows her whereabouts is urged to contact Bedfordshire Police on 01234 841212.
