BOLTON Town Hall plays host to a commemoration of the abolition of slavery with a free event featuring workshops, food, drink and debate on Friday.
Among those taking part will be Tony Watt, from Manchester Samba, who will join the Pap-ye of Kantamanto drummers to create a fusion of African and Brazilian drumming. The evening, which starts at 7pm, will be hosted by Manchester poet SuAndi and also features Ethiopian drumming by Daniel Tz.
