LOSTOCK had a week off from the league and welcomed Rossendale in a friendly.
Rossendale opened the scoring with a soft try, and a well taken conversion from the made it 7-0.
Lostock's backs were in superb form and Kev Longshaw added yet another try to his superb tally this season.
Shortly after, Andy Urmston added another score and that in turn was followed by a superb try from Jay Cheetham. Mark Johns added the conversion.
In the final 10 minutes, Rossendale camped on Lostock's try line but were unable to breach their defence, until a poor penalty was given against Lostock and Dale squeezed through Lostock's defence in the last minute.
