A BOLTON postal worker has proved to be first class when it comes to making a difference to other people's lives.
Mary Wilson, who works as an administrator at the Bolton Mail Centre impressed organisers of the company's First Class People Awards with her 15 years of charity fund raising.
She is area co-ordinator for Help the Hospices, raising more than £6,000 last year for the organisation as well as £3,000 for other charities.
Mary wins £500 for winning the North-west regional round plus a £100 prize for being short-listed in the national contest.
She has also been invited to the national award ceremony in London on March 26.
