THREE men have been arrested in dawn raids after a teenager was slashed with a knife in an attempted carjacking.
An 18-year-old driver had his fingers slashed when three men tried to steal his red Alfa Romeo car at around 9pm on Saturday, near to the Lucky Chip Shop in Rydal Crescent, Walkden.
The victim, who was in the car with three friends, had to have microsurgery at Wythenshawe Hospital.
Teams of officers carried out search warrants this morning at three separate addresses across Salford.
An 18-year-old man from Clifton, a two men from Little Hulton and Walkden, both 20, have been arrested on suspicion of robbery.
A number of items were recovered during the raids including items of clothing.
Searches at the addresses have now ended and the three men remain in custody for questioning.
