THE winners of a young art competition have been announced.
Connor Guy, aged 11, won first prize, Joshua Bridge, aged seven, scooped second place, and two-year-old Abbie Stamford came third.
The competition was organised by Nugents Care, which is one of the North-west's leading charities and cares for children, disabled and disadvantaged people of all ages.
The charity is currently looking for someone who can volunteer some time to befriend an adult with learning difficulties, enabling them to take part in activities, such as rambling, gardening, playing pool and generally socialising.
