THE Octagon Theatre's four week production of The Wedding Dance - which ended on March 3 - has broken the venue's box office records.
Excluding festive shows, no production has sold as many tickets in the Bolton theatre's 40-year history.
John Blackmore, the Octagon's executive director, said: "Record breaking shows are only part of the story but it is wonderful to have a box office smash'."
The Wedding Dance now goes on a short national tour.
