IT all added up for the pupils of Sharples High School, when they took part in the third annual Bolton Team Maths Competition.
Around 100 pupils aged 13 to 15 from schools across the borough took part in the contest, hosted by Bolton Sixth Form College.
It targets pupils hoping to study maths at A-level, and is designed to encourage them to think logically and laterally as a group to solve maths problems.
The trophy this year went to Sharples High School.
Paul Buckley, head of mathematics at Bolton Sixth Form College, said: "We are pleased to be in the third year of our annual mathematics competition. We have had an excellent response from Bolton's schools with around 100 pupils competing from six schools.
"As always, the competition was fierce as each team battled to take home the prized trophy."
