BOLTON Independent Living has been awarded a £30,000 grant from a national charity.
The group - which helps people with learning disabilities become more independent - was delighted to receive the donation from the charity, which wanted to remain anonymous.
A spokesman said: "We are delighted to get the grant and also to have achieved a good three star rating with the Commission for Social Care Inspectorate following the inspection they did on us in February."
Anyone who wants to find out if they are eligible for help with independent living should pop along to an information evening at the Friends Meeting House in Silverwell Street, Bolton, on Tuesday, March 20, from 7pm to 9.30pm.
If you want further information ring 01204 557676.
