A HEALTH resource library has a new location within Bolton's central library.
The Primary Care Trust library provides information for health staff and students as well as holding information for the public on health-related issues and healthy lifestyles.
Lesley Hardman, the library manager, said: "This is an ideal location for us, which will enable more people to drop in to pick up the information they need.
"We've been made very welcome by our colleagues in the council's library service and look forward to working with them more closely."
Opening hours have also been extended to make the library more accessible, and it is now open until 7.30pm on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 5.30pm on Wednesday and Friday and 5pm on Saturday.
l Deborah Harkins, deputy director of public health at the Trust and John Rutherford, director of adult services at Bolton Council, check out the health resource books at the central library.
