Bolton 3rd 4 Lytham 1 BOLTON started sprightly and Tom Nelson created a great opening and Keith Stanley finished from a tight angle. Then Nelson deflected the second goal from a driven cross before Lytham pulled a goal back from a short corner.
Bolton went in at half-time winning comfortably without having to get into second gear.
The second half started with Bolton sitting back and allowing Lytham more possession of the ball and whilst there was no great threat it would only take one mistake to put Lytham back in the game. Fortunately Luke Fiddler stepped up and put the game beyond doubt and Simon Coles added a fourth for the game to finish 4-1.
While Bolton won this game quite easily thehave question is: can they raise their performance to beat a previously unbeaten Windermere side?
