PLENTY of live music to check out this weekend.
Highlight will be Kid Carpet, whose kiddy disco punk makes him the perfect foil to local geniuses Islands Lost at Sea on their bonanza St Patrick's Day celebration at the Dog and Partridge on Saturday.
Admission is £3, and we've heard rumours that there will be hoeroes and villains-themed cocktails.
If that doesn't tickle your fancy you could always head to the Farmers' Arms in Chorley where blues band Night Train are playing for free.
While for those willing to travel to Manchester, Cardinal Saviou's Nathan is hosting the second gig from his promotion company Warped at The Grovel in Manchester.
On the bill are The Drainpipes, Powerplay Machine, Asbo and Never Say Die.
As a warm up, Thought Police, Instant Species and Aldehyde are playing the Death 2 the DJ gig at the Soundhouse tonight.
Wind up the weekend with Sunday's acoustic sessions down at the Dog - it's free.
And don't forget, if you fancy a boogie it's Badvibes tonight at the Dog and Black Forest Ghetto tomorrow. Huzzah!
