MUSIC fans have been left without concert tickets after an intenet site went bust.
More than 6,000 people who have paid to see Dolly Parton, Girls Aloud and The Police have been told by Ticket Tout Limited that their tickets will not arrive, after the company went into administration.
Fans planning on seeing their favourite artist at the MEN Arena have been affected it.
Insolvency company Valentine and Co have written to fans saying the firm ceased trading on March 6.
They said: "The company has ceased to trade and is unable to fulfil its obligations to you as a creditor and customer.
"A vast number of customers are expecting tickets for future events. Regrettably, the company will be unable to provide these to you as it is not in possession of the tickets."
Valentine and Co estimate the company's debts amount to just under £2m, of which £1.4m relates to money paid for tickets.
It is understood the tickets cannot be sent to customers because they had not been supplied to Ticket Tout before the company went into administration.
Under the Consumer Credit Act, customers who paid more than £100 by credit card might be able to claim against their credit card company.
It is estimated that 6,500 people could be affected by the company's collapse.
