Bolton School under-14s lacrosse team are the northern champions after they scored 14 goals and conceded only one in a tournament at Queen Margaret's School,York. The girls beat Harrogate Ladies College 4-0, Withington School 3-0, and Mount St Joseph's 7-1.
In the qualifying games the team won all their matches scoring 51 goals and conceding one.
The only time they were threatened came in the final when they squeezed past Harper Green by 9-8.
The under-13s Bolton knockout semi-final: Bolton 22 Smithills 2; under-15s county tournament The team won three matches and lost three, losing them all by just one goal. They finished third in their section.
