Bolton Mets Jnrs 17 Haresfinch 10 HAVING never lost to Haresfinch, the Mets once again proved to be the better team.
In perfect conditions, the Mets dominated the early exchanges and a bullet-pass from Chris Taylor saw Phil Slinn dart over.
Bolton pressured the Haresfinch line and after a sensational 40 metre break from Sam Cavanagh, Stuart Evans scored near the posts.
The second half saw the Mets pile on the pressure and after camping on the Finch line Matt Burke delivered a short pass to Chris Hinks, who crashed over. Chris Taylor made easy work of two conversions.
Coach Neil Burke said "The lads have worked hard to improve all aspects of their game. We have a number of new players who have a great attitude to the sport and with our experienced players the team is looking great."
