BUSINESS transfer agent SBS Commercial, has promoted Sally Griffiths to marketing director. She will now be responsible for the running the outbound call centres across the UK and will be in charge of taking on new clients who wish to market their business for sale.
Sally joined the business four months ago as head of marketing and has been a key force in driving business development. Sally becomes the ninth director at SBS Commercial, based in Lever Street and one of three women who have been appointed to the role of director.
The Chartered Institute of Marketing has appointed Dawn Holmes as the new chairman of the North-west Regional Board. She will be working closely with Diane Earles, the Institute's North-west regional director, as well as with the CIM teams in Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Lancashire, Cumbria and The Isle of Man.
She succeeds Garry MacLaren who held the post for five years.
Dawn worked for Japanese technology manufacturer Brother for over 11 years, most recently as head of marketing.
TNT Post, the leading competitor to Royal Mail in the UK postal market, has appointed Jim McCabe, pictured, as new business development manager. Based in Manchester, Mr McCabe will be responsible for developing new business initiatives in the north of England and growing the company's rapidly expanding client base.
He will manage a team of six staff. Mr McCabe spent 25 years at Royal Mail.
