BOLTON metallers Strain will release their debut album on Total Impact Records on May 28.
The self-titled album will include 11 of the band's songs, including April, which in 2004 appeared on Daredevil Records' Burn The Streets compilation.
Strain are most often compared to Down, Black Label Society, Pantera and early Machine Head.
Last year they supported Raging Speedhorn, Orange Goblin and Head-On, in between recording the album.
April will be released as a download-only single on Monday April 16.
