FRIDAY, March 16:
All Day Broad Oak High School, Hazel Avenue, Bury: Non uniform day; Pay to Play in the Library; Year 7's will be taking part in a Rowing Challenge; Student/Teacher Male Leg Waxing; If the school raises our target of £1000 our floppy haired Geography Teacher Hayhurst will lose his locks - Nnumber 2 all over.
All day Radcliffe Riverside School:Students are donating £1 to wear clothes other than their usual school uniform and to wear something red. Some students are baking Comic Relief cakes to sell at break time. The staff are taking part in the Comic Relief Sweepstake.
All Day SBS Commercial, The Boardwalk, LittlePeter Street, Manchester: Bad taste fancy dress competition, with a prize for the worst dressed. Great pictures promised.
9.30am to 4pm Barclays, Blackburn Street, Radcliffe: Cake sales, tombolas, name the bear etc and all the staff will be in fancy dress. For every pound the event raises, Barclays will double it for the charity.
10am to 2pm Tiny Tots Day Nursery, Kings Road, Prestwich: Youngsters staging a number of crazy events in aid of Comic Relief - including sponsored bounce, all wearing red clothes and dying their hair red, etc.
10am to 2.30pm Summerseat Pupil Learning Centre, Summerseat House, Summerseat Lane, Bury: Children are wearing bad ties for the day and giving donations to Comic Relief.
12 noon Bolton Council's Childrens Services department bowling match at Hollywood Bowl Middlebrook: The current holders are 'Charles Bronson's My Uuncle' who will be defending their title! Hollywood Bowl are also throwing in bottle of champagne for the winners.
1pm Sedgley Park Primary School, Kings Road, Prestwich: Children are raising money for Comic Relief and rugby players from the Salford City Reds and maybe their mascot will be visiting.
1.30pm Derby High School, Radcliffe Road, Bury: School's technology department has made a large red nose which is being put on school roof through the day. Also, pupil Joseph Norton is dressing up as a clown.
2.30pm Fairfield Private Day Nursery, Rochdale Old Road, Bury (in the grounds of Fairfield Hospital): Youngsters wearing their clothes inside out and having weird hair-dos as past of Red Nose Day.
2.30pm O2 Call Centre, Dumers Lane, Bury: O2 holding a laughter clinic and bringing in a comedian, Steph.
7pm The Railway Hotel, Ramsbottom, hosted by Stacey & Simon: Quiz night where local businesses have donated fantastic prizes.
8pm Yates Wine Bar, Market Street Bury: Pyjama party for staff and customers.
