BOLTON West MP Ruth Kelly presented a £300 cheque to Breast Cancer Care after staff at the Horwich Co-op store raised cash at a Labour Party event to mark International Women's Day.
Staff organised a raffle last Thursday and the Co-op donated a Fairtrade hamper.
Ms Kelly said: "I'm delighted to have been able to raise funds for Breast Cancer Care, a charity I know works very hard.
"I know that the money raised will be put to very good use."
Every year 44,000 men and women are diagnosed with breast cancer in the UK and Breast Cancer Care provides support for people living with the disease.
Abigail Batchelor, area fundraiser for Breast Cancer Care, said: "Every contribution makes a difference and funds raised will go towards ensuring that we can continue to offer vital support to women and men with breast cancer, their family and friends."
