THE Goldline Trophy final produced a dramatic climax at the Reebok Stadium on Monday night.
Prestwich Heys and Charnock Richard played out a goalless 90 minutes before Lee Connell broke the deadlock with a 30-yard strike 10 minutes into extra-time.

Charnock then went down to 10 men but kept their hopes of glory alive when George Craddock scored a last-gasp equaliser to take the game to penalties.
After the first six spot-kicks were missed, former Bury midfielder, Connell, and Damion Keegan converted for Heys while Charnock missed their fourth consecutive penalty.
The result continued Heys' magnificent season, in which they are unbeaten, and gained revenge for losing last season's Goldline Trophy final at the same venue and against the same opposition.
