Leigh RMI Under-8s sealed the Bolton, Bury and District Junior Football League Division B title with a 3-2 win at second placed Sharples.
The youngsters kept their 100 per cent record intact, winning all 18 of their matches.
They broke the deadlock when Sharples failed to clear a corner and Jamie Wilson slotted home from close range.
Wilson added to his and RMI's tally when Sharples failed to clear a corner and the ball was allowed to roll into an empty net. RMI made it 3-0 before the break when Bradley Whelan provided the perfect pass for Romal Palmer to score.
Sharples came back into the match after the interval when an RMI defender was caught in possession inside his own half, and the hosts grabbed goal back with keeper Steven Leigh given no chance of a save.
RMI were always a threat on the break, but it was Sharples who found a clinical touch to make it 3-2 and put the game on a knife-edge.
RMI dug deep and defended as a team of the rest of the game, but failed to seal a more comfortable win with numerous missed chances and some fine goalkeeping from the Sharples stopper.
