SWIMMERS across Bolton will be making a big splash for a good cause when they take part in a national swimathon.
Horwich, Ladybridge, Sharples and Turton Leisure Centres will host swimmers taking part in the Marie Curie Swimathon as they make waves to raise money for nurses who help care for terminally ill patients.
The events will run from Thursday to Sunday, March 22 to 25. Visit www.swimathon.org for details and to register before Tuesday, March 20.
