Prestwich Heys are on a revenge mission when they take on Charnock Richard in the Goldline Trophy final tonight at Wanderers' Reebok Stadium.
Heys went down to their West Lancashire Premier League rivals in last season's final - and Prestwich manager Adie Moran is confident his side can avenge that defeat.
"We are going there to win it," said Moran, whose team are second in the Manchester Premier League. "I have won once and lost once in this competition, and I know which is the better feeling.
"Revenge may be a strong word, but Charnock beat us last season in the final and it really hurt. The lads know what they have to do to win it, and they are capable of it, but we know we will be playing a well-organised side with some experienced players."
Both squads will be treated like professionals for the day for their trip to the Reebook, with a pre-match meal in the Village hotel forming part of their preparation.
