CASTAWAY Erica Hurst almost kept her modesty in last night's BBC TV show after promising her husband she would not "get anything out" on the same day she appeared topless in a Sunday paper.
When two of the male Castaways went to swim with dolphins in the island's bay, the Bolton lap dancer decided not to as she had promised her husband, Matthew Williams, she would stay covered up.
But when the dolphins made a dawn return she could not resist the temptation and jumped into the sea in just a vest and knickers. She described the experience as "11 out of 10".
Tensions have already started to show in the camp, which involves 13 participants, who are living on Great Barrier Island, off the coast of New Zealand, for three months, with two separate groups vying for supremacy.
Describing her time so far on the BBC show, Erica said: "I absolutely love it here. This place is bringing out attributes I didn't know I had, both in myself."
And what did Erica's husband of just a few weeks think of the topless newspaper photographs?
He said: "I'm proud of the pictures because she looks good in them. I knew she'd done them and it's a part of her past that she's not ashamed of."
