Police are offering a £20,000 reward for information leading to the conviction of the killers who gunned down a 15-year-old boy.
Six months ago Jessie James was shot three times as he cycled through a park in Manchester, detectives admit many in his community are still too scared to talk.
Jessie was murdered in the early hours of September 9, last year in Broadfield Park, Moss Side.
Greater Manchester Police have put together a BBC Crimewatch reconstruction of his last moments and posted clips on the website YouTube in a bid to persuade people to come forward.
It is hoped the new cash incentive will break the wall of silence.
Detective Superintendent Shaun Donnellan said: "I know there are people who know who killed Jessie James.
"So far, some of these people have been reluctant to come forward and I know why - it's because they fear for themselves or their families.
"I can protect you and your family. Your courage could convict a killer."
