PREVIEW
Two of the three English sides left in the Champions League could be drawn against each other.
UEFA have decided that no teams will be seeded for the last eight, and sides from the same country will be able to play each other.
It means Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea will be hoping to avoid each other in the draw in Athens - especially after the big guns from Spain were knocked out this week.
Six-times European champions AC Milan are likely to be the biggest threat to English dominance although the resilience of Spain's single remaining representative Valencia will make them tough opponents too.
Bayern Munich have not been enjoying their best season domestically in Germany but their success against Real Madrid on Wednesday night may indicate a timely surge in form.
Roma, too, chalked up a surprise victory over Lyon while PSV Eindhoven, runaway leaders in the Dutch league, showed by knocking out Arsenal that they can be a force to be reckoned with.
The draw will also include the draw for the semi-finals and takes place in Athens, where the final will be played in the Olympic Stadium on May 23.
The draw will be conducted by UEFA's acting chief executive Gianni Infantino, assisted by Friedrich Stickler, chairman of the UEFA club competitions committee, and Theo Zagorakis, the former Leicester midfielder who was captain of Greece's Euro 2004-winning side.
