A "MANIPULATIVE" man allegedly distributed pornographic images of his former lover and tried to stab her mother to death, a court heard yesterday.
Liverpool Crown Court was told Stanley Hill, aged 45, of Kensington Drive, Leigh, was in a relationship with Wendy Crooks and then more recently with her daughter, Janine, with whom he lived for a number of years in Leigh.
Janine moved in with her mother in Royal Drive, Higher Folds, Leigh. But when she lived with Hill he photographed her on several occasions in pornographic poses, Michael Scholes, prosecuting, told the court.
Hill stored them on his computer and made CDs of the images, but she thought he got rid of them.
In October 2005 a number of CDs were distributed bearing labels with Janine's name, address and mobile phone number.
The CDs were given to the police.
On December 29, 2005, Wendy Crooks was attacked on Coronation Drive on the estate. A man in black, wearing a balaclava, stabbed her four times in her breasts and upper abdomen.
The court heard that an hour after the attack, Hill turned up at his daughter's home with a knife and blood on his clothing. He said he had killed Wendy.
Mr Scholes said: "He is a manipulative man who bore a grudge against Wendy and Janine.
Hill has pleaded not guilty to attempted murder, an alternative lesser charge of wounding with intent and two charges of witness intimidation.
