BOLTON DJ Sara Cox has made the shortlist for Celebrity Mum of the Year.
The Radio One host joins Tess Daly - wife of Bolton TV presenter Vernon Kay - and a host of other well-known mums vying for the title.
Among the surprise nominations is Jady Goody, the disgraced Celebrity Big Brother star who sparked an international outcry over her alleged racist treatment of Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty.
Former model Sara, aged 32, has a two-year-old daughter, Lola, whose father is her ex-husband Jon Carter, with whom she split in December, 2005, after a four-year marriage.
Tess, a model and Strictly Come Dancing presenter, has a two-year-old daughter, Phoebe Elizabeth.
She married Vernon, a former St Joseph's RC High School pupil in 2003 in Horwich.
The Grattan Celebrity Mum of the Year award, now in its seventh year, is based on a public vote involving more than 10,000 people.
Supermodel Kate Moss, mother to Lila, aged 4, and Heather Mills McCartney, who has a three-year-old daughter, Beatrice, by estranged husband Sir Paul, are also included, as are the Duchess of York and the Duchess of Cornwallm, Victoria Beckham and fellow Spice Girls Mel B and Geri Halliwell.
Other celebrities include pop singer Jamelia, Big Brother host Davina McCall, glamour girl Katie Price (aka Jordan), GMTV's Lorraine Kelly, model Nell McAndrew, footballer's wife Louise Redknapp and WAG Alex Curran.
Last year's winner was Sharon Osbourne, has not made the shortlist.
