DAISY Hill's young side were good value for their point against seventh-placed Bootle, earned when Dominic Shinks' 32nd minute goal cancelled out James Rainford's 10th minute opener.
The draw keeps Daisy second bottom of the NWCL Division Two with plenty of games in hand, and they almost won it when a last minute effort was cleared off the line.
"We had several good chances and deserved to win," said manager Tommy Moore.
