THE first ever purpose built laser and skincare clinic has recently opened in the grounds of the Royal Bolton Hospital.
A £500,000 pound building is now owned and managed by Laserase North West and according to the Clinic's Director, Denise Leslie, the premises now reflect the state-of-the-art equipment used by the company.
She said: "We have moved from two space limited rooms inside the hospital to this superb facility which offers both our staff and patients a much better environment.
"We are now able to offer evening and weekend appointments as well as clinics during the day which has been really appreciated by our patients."
This bespoke building offers 250 square metres which includes a large reception area, four specialist laser treatment rooms, two consulting rooms and a training room.
Laserase North West was established in 1993 by Denise who started the clinic with one laser, one doctor and one administrator.
Today the clinic has fourteen staff and five different lasers with more equipment currently on order.
Denise said: "This new facility means we can increase our capacity from seeing just 100 patients a month in our old clinic to potentially 1,000.
"The clinic has also expanded its offering and as well as the tattoo and hair removal treatments for which we are renowned, we are now able to provide anti-ageing, skin rejuvenation and acne and scarring skin treatments all carried out by qualified nurses and doctors."
The building was developed by Blakely Tongue and Partners.
