BOXING sensation Amir Khan has teamed-up with a music heavyweight to record his own fight song.
The Olympic silver medalist has joined forces with international DJ Judge Jules to create a Rocky'-style theme tune to psyche him up for fights.
It will be played for the first time as he enters the ring for his next fight, at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium, on April 7.
The Bolton boxer said: "Everyone knows the Rocky theme tune and I wanted something like that - something people hear and know Amir's coming.
"It really gets your adrenalin pumping and builds up the hype before a fight. And it's really motivational so it's great to train to."
The pair spent a day in the DJ's London studio coming up with the up-tempo dance track, which they hope to release.
Amir is confident it will be a hit with fans and help to get him in the right mood as he enters the ring.
He has previously walked into packed arenas to Tony Christie's Amarillo', which was re-released, featuring Bolton comedian Peter Kay.
But Amir said: "I blamed Amarillo for mistakes I made a few times in fights - it never got me hyped up enough.
"The new track is much more powerful."
