A MAN accused of murdering 31-year-old Mohammed Hans was remanded in custody after appearing before Bolton magistrates today.
Ahmed Hansia, aged 30, of Bowness Road, Deane, was led in handcuffs into the dock by security guards and spoke only to confirm his name, age and address.
Dressed in a navy blue sweatshirt Hansia nodded and smiled at relatives in court before being remanded in custody to appear before Manchester Crown Court for a plea and case management hearing on March 13.
There was no application for bail.
Mr Hans was found injured in Back Bowness Road by waste paper collectors on Thursday morning and died a short time later in hospital.
