A RAIDER threatened a barman with a knife when he robbed a pub in Leigh.
The robber struck at around 4pm on Thursday when he went into the Railway Pub in Twist Lane brandishing a knife and demanded cash from the barman.
He handed over a brown cloth bag to the victim who put the money from the till inside it.
The raider then ran out of the main entrance towards Leigh town centre.
No-one was injured during the incident but the barman was left badly shaken.
The raider was white, in his late twenties, 5ft 10in tall, and slim. He was wearing blue denim jeans, a black jacket and a black woollen hat.
