BOLTON beauty fans can now get their hands on a skincare range which uses the natural power of rosehip oil.
Developed by two sisters, Trilogy launched its first five rosehip oil products in New Zealand and Australia in 2002.
The Duchess of Cambridge is said to be a fan of Trilogy Certified Organic Rosehip Oil after she was sent some during a Royal visit to New Zealand in April last year.
In a world of ‘high-science’ synthetic skincare and old-fashioned apothecary-style natural products, Trilogy founders Catherine de Groot and Sarah Gibbs seized an opportunity to bridge the gap between performance and natural.
The brand's team paid a visit to the North West on Thursday where they showcased a range of products — from moisturising cream to lip balm to shampoo — in the Sky Lounge at Manchester's DoubleTree by Hilton hotel.
The certified natural skincare brand has recently been launched in all six Harvey Nichols stores in the UK, including the Manchester branch.
Melissa Gooden, UK and Ireland sales manager for Trilogy, said: “It’s very exciting for us, a niche independent skincare brand, to be recognised by the UK’s leading luxury retailer.
"We are thrilled to see Trilogy products in Harvey Nichols and we can’t wait for their customers to try our beautiful products.”
The capsule collection includes the Rosehip Oil — also used by Miranda Kerr, Gwyneth Paltrow and Victoria Beckham — alongside bestsellers Rosehip Oil Antioxidant+, Everything Balm, Mineral Radiance Mask, Rosapene Night Cream, Hydrating Mist Toner, Vital Moisturising Cream and Cream Cleanser.
Rosehip oil's potent natural ingredients make it highly effective for scars and stretch marks and other skin problems, including dehydrated and ageing skin.
Independent clinical studies show that, even in severe cases, the oil helps reduce the visible characteristics and appearance of scars by 41%, stretch marks by 43% and wrinkles by 23%.
As well as the rosehip range, there are products for sensitive skin, ageing skin and others to combat blemishes and breakouts.
Trilogy Certified Organic Rosehip Oil 20ml (£16.50) and 45ml (£28.50) is also available from Holland & Barrett, John Lewis, Debenhams and Boots.
