BOLD and beautiful continues to be the eyebrow mantra for 2015.
A Bolton salon held an event last week to showcase and demonstrate HD Brows and the brand's latest make-up range.
Brett Sear, HD Brows trainer/stylist, paid a visit to Beyond Beauty, Blackburn Road, to give expert advice and professional make-up tips.
Salon owner Dina Hirani, who lives in Lostock, said: "It was good.
"The HD Brows are quite popular in the salon anyway.
"Just before Christmas, we took up their make-up display.
"At the moment, I'm the only one who has got it in the Bolton area."
HD Make Up by HD Brows is a capsule collection of brow, eye, skin and lip essentials.
Developed with make-up artist Francesca Neil, who toured with Girls Aloud and is a veteran on television shows including The X Factor, Strictly Come Dancing and Britain's Got Talent, it is long-wearing but feather-light and easy to blend.
The HD Brows system uses seven steps — including tinting, waxing, threading, tweezing and trimming — to alter the shape of the eyebrows clients already have.
The high-precision procedure promises to transform even the most over-plucked brow into perfect shape, dramatically enhancing facial features.
Dina said: "They teach you how to alter the shape.
"Tinting the surrounding hair to get the lines and angles in the right place.
"HD Brows is all about the natural look.
"A lot of girls have phoned asking is HD Brows all about the Scouse brow?
"HD Brows is about a natural look — for all ages."
Dina's sister Nisha is the salon's hairdresser and has just become a distributor for hair extensions.
They have also invested in an advanced IPL system — a medical grade machine used to treat hair removal, skin rejuvenation, vascular conditions and pigmentation.
