Manchester Phoenix and Telford Tigers have agreed the dates for their English Challenge Cup Final.
The two biggest games of the season will be played on Thursday 12th March in Altrincham and a week later on Thursday 19th March in Telford.
The teams finished first and second in the North qualifying group and were successful in the semi finals against the top two in the South group.
Phoenix overcame the Swindon Wildcats 13-8 on aggregate and Telford got the better of Guildford Flames 9-5.
Telford and Phoenix are the top goal scoring teams in the league and both teams are expecting a large crowd in their home fixtures.
With Telford running away with the league, Phoenix are looking to the Challenge Cup to put some silverware in the cabinet. Recent results have favoured the Tigers but with Phoenix making the final for the first time, Tony Hand’s squad are confident they can win the trophy.
