A WEBSITE which helps women find the perfect party dress for every occasion has been shortlisted for an award.
Manchester-based company LittleBlackDress.co.uk will go head-to-head with industry giants River Island, Topshop, House of Fraser and Harvey Nichols at the 2015 Drapers Digital Awards.
It has been shortlisted in the Best Redesign/Re-launch category.
Founder David Walter said: “We are absolutely thrilled to be recognised on the shortlist for this year’s Drapers Digital Awards.
"It’s been a great year for Little Black Dress and our customers have given us great feedback about the new site and our debut dress collection.”
He added: “Seeing the calibre of this year’s entrants, it’s an honour to be shortlisted.”
Since the re-launch of LittleBlackDress.co.uk in the autumn of 2014, including the debut of its inaugural own-label collection of little black dresses, the website has enjoyed a 110% increase in traffic and 200% increase in sales.
The brand held a glamorous party to showcase the new collection at Manchester House in October, attended by fashionistas including Walkden actress Catherine Tyldesley, who plays Eva Price in Coronation Street.
Open to all retailers and pure-play e tailers that have redesigned or re-launched a website within the last 12 months, the judges will be looking at how the re-launch has benefited the business and driven a sales increase, as well as given an enhanced customer experience, alongside inspiring editorial content.
The shortlist was announced on Friday and the ceremony takes place in London on April 30, voted for by an esteemed panel of industry insiders.
