FROM shimmering eye make-up to stylish hair updos, Bolton's beauty experts are on hand to help ladies look and feel glamorous this Christmas.
Debenhams in Market Place Shopping Centre held an exclusive beauty and cosmetics event on Thursday evening, inviting all make-up lovers and perfume connoisseurs to join staff in store for some pampering.
One of the most popular events in the store's calendar, there were beauty treats, free samples, cosmetic demonstrations, the latest products, makeover tips and free party makeovers.
Hair stylists, from Toni and Guy, Deansgate in Bolton, paid a visit to showcase their range of Fashion Fix looks — perfect for anyone rushing from work to a Christmas party this December.
Karen Frain, store manager at Debenhams Bolton, said: "The festive season is well under way and at Debenhams Bolton we have lots on offer to ensure our shoppers are looking fabulous in time for their Christmas parties.
"Our beauty hall boasts a range of premium cosmetic brands including Dior, Chanel, Estee Lauder and Benefit — a firm favourite with our customers looking to add a touch of sparkle to their make-up look.
"All of our cosmetic brands in store offer complimentary makeovers, so make sure you pop in for some festive pampering."
To complement the make-up looks, staff from Toni and Guy demonstrated the salon's Fashion Fix range — 12 quick hairstyles which will take fashionistas from desk to dance floor for £25.
Styles included are the Bardot beehive, inspired by fashion icon Brigitte Bardot, the ballet school braid and nouveau knot.
Toni and Guy manager Jessica Rothwell, who has worked there for 12 years, said: "If someone is working and going on their Christmas do and they need a quick hair up before they go out, there's 12 styles they can choose from.
"It's called from catwalk to client, they are styles that are taken from London Fashion Week, that we're a sponsor of.
"This is the busiest time of year now."
As part of the event, Debenhams was also fundraising for Think Pink — the department store's Breast Cancer initiative, which supports and donates money to Breakthrough Breast Cancer, Breast Cancer Campaign and the Pink Ribbon.
