TRIBUTES have been pouring in to a popular teenager after he was found dead at his home.
It is thought Dylan Thomas Jackson had enjoyed a night out with friends last Friday and lost his mobile phone.
On the Sunday, relatives posted on Facebook that the 19-year-old was missing.
The last person to see him was a friend who dropped him off at his home, in the Highfield area of Farnworth, in the early hours of Saturday morning.
But Dylan was found in a garden shed at his home on Sunday.
The teenager attended Harper Green School in Farnworth and later went to the Horwich campus of Bolton College.
A college spokesman said: “Staff at our motor vehicle department were very saddened to hear that Dylan had passed away.
“Barry Walton, his motor vehicle tutor for several years, remembers him well for being a polite and conscientious young man, who was keen to follow in his family’s footsteps and work in the motor industry.
“The college shares in the family’s loss of one so young. Our thoughts and condolences go out to his family and friends at this very sad time.”
On Tuesday night, friends gathered at The Dell, off Marsh Lane in Farnworth, for a vigil in his memory and balloons and Chinese lanterns were released.
Dozens of people have also paid tributes to Dylan online, while two friends, Dean Tuff and Jamie Faulker, made a video, featuring a collage of photographs taken throughout the teenager’s life.
Ashley Williams said: “He was such a great lad. Everyone liked him and got on with him.
“Dylan worked hard and was popular with so many people.
