PUTTING people first is an ethos which a successful Bolton legal firm has spearheaded and adopted since its launch six years ago.
Additionally, Asons Solicitors has seen its revenue and gross profits increase year on year and the firm’s growth and success has been reflected in the number of awards that have been bestowed upon it.
Chief executive Imran Akram was voted Bolton and Bury Business Person of the Year in 2013 and he received an honorary PhD from the University of Bolton earlier this year.
Asons Solicitors, in Bark Street, was established in 2008 and is one of the UK’s leading legal firms in the field of personal injury. The company is emerging as a potent legal force too in the areas of industrial disease and medical negligence.
Next year, the solicitors will move to a new office close to St Peter’s Way and the company also plans to take on new staff. Another objective is to expand overseas and specialise in legal avenues that are specifically in demand in various locations, while keeping its Bolton base as its headquarters.
A London office for the firm’s current specialisations is part of the plan, as well as employment and property law in Dubai, energy contracts work in Pakistan, personal injury in New York and a niche practice in financial mergers and exports in Singapore.
Senior executive Justin Richards said: “The legal industry has suffered like many others under a double dip recession, but Asons has seen unprecedented growth that has defied expectations.”
