HARDSCAPE is now emerging as a strong performer in the hard landscaping materials supply sector after successfully navigating the tricky waters of the recent recession.
Employing more than 25 local people at its head office in Bolton — and 13 more in other offices around the UK — Hardscape markets its portfolio of products in the UK, Europe and Asia.
Further growth is planned in the current financial year, off the back of a year of record turnover in 2013/14.
Founded in 1994 by Matthew Haslam, Hardscape has always been based in Bolton and, thanks to organic growth, now boasts a regional distribution centre in Stratford Upon Avon and a sales office in Belfast.
It rapidly outgrew its original offices in Chorley Old Road, Bolton, relocating to Deakins Business Park in 2002.
The firm now supplies thousands of square metres of products to all the major civil engineering contractors across the UK and Ireland.
Landmark schemes include Leicester Square and Kings Cross Station in London and the new Network Rail headquarters in Milton Keynes.
