THE NetGiant success story has gone on and on since it was founded in 2003 by husband and wife team Gary and Joanne Flynn.
With its three trading brands – CartridgeMonkey.com, TonerGiant.com and NetGiant.com – it has become one of the largest online retailers of printers and consumables in the UK today.
In the teeth of one of the deepest recessions in living memory, NetGiant has demonstrated impressive growth year on year and in the last 12 months its workforce has doubled in size to 23 while revenues have grown in excess of 130 per cent during the last five years.
The team has been 90 per cent recruited from Bolton and surrounding areas.
NetGiant’s growth was demonstrated in 2008 when NetGiant moved from Farnworth to its current state-of-the-art base in Atherton.
The message from the duo running the firm is simple; they are proud of their past and excited about their future.
“There has been a real buzz in the office since we’ve heard that we’ve been shortlisted for the Business of the Year Award,” said Ms Flynn. “We’re absolutely delighted! Our team has worked so hard in the last 12 months to put us in the position where we’ve managed to smash our record turnover once again and enjoyed the best year we’ve ever had as a company.
“If we were to go on and win the award it would be a fitting reward for our team for all the hard work they put in every single day.
“We just can’t wait for the awards night now!”
