A CAR bodyshop has won a national award at a glitzy event in London, hosted by comedy star Rob Brydon.
Perfect Finish in Farnworth was crowned Bodyshop of the Year 2014 at the Battersea Evolution in front of 930 guests, beating off competition from hundreds of other UK rivals.
Director Tony Berry was presented with the award by Nationwide Network Services UK manager Mike Slater.
The British Bodyshop Awards are run to highlight standards in the car body repair industry and shine a spotlight on firms working hard to maintain quality and high levels of customer service.
“Being presented with the award from one of our largest customers, Nationwide Network Services is a genuine honour,” said Mr Berry.
“The team at Perfect Finish works to extremely high standards and we’re delighted to be recognised for the outstanding effort our whole team makes. To be awarded in front of such a large audience also added to the occasion.”
Perfect Finish was runners-up at the 2012 and 2013 Bodyshop awards.
The Egerton Street firm won its award for the outstanding quality of its motor accident repairs, customer service and cost control.
The business was also crowned most loved car body repairer in UK for the second year in a row in a competition run by the BestofBolton organisation, triumphing over hundreds of other independent businesses in the genre.
